General Description: A popular dwarf angelfish for its hardiness and color, the Coral Beauty Angelfish is also known as the Two-spined Angelfish. The body and head are a deep royal blue, highlighted with an orange to yellow. The Coral Beauty Angelfish is one of the easiest angels to care for in the home aquarium. Differences in color and intensity will vary depending on origin. Adult maximum size is approximately 4 inches.
Diet Requirements: The aquarium diet of the Coral Beauty Angelfish should consist of Spirulina, Chlorella, marine sheet algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, marine flake or small pellets, and other enriched frozen foods for optimal health, color, and longevity.
Care Requirements: The Coral Beauty requires a minimum 75 gallon aquarium as an adult to thrive in, with ample live rock to graze algae off of and retreat to if necessary. The Coral Beauty can be kept with a large variety of passive to semi-aggressive fish, including other members of the Centropyge genus. The Coral Beauty is a less aggressive member of the Centropyge genus and one of the most common introduced in a reef aquarium with little issue. Reef compatible with caution and may require close monitoring. The Coral Beauty Angelfish may nip at stony and soft corals polyps and other sessile invertebrates. Recommended water conditions, 72-78° F, KH 8-12, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.020-1.025.
